As many of us have heard the Federal Election is ramping up and Oct.19 Election day is very close, I hope all reading this will be sure to vote as it not only a privilege we enjoy, to be able to vote, but it is so important for as citizens to exercise this privilege. Maybe now more than ever, we have started to see things change globally and domestically and we need to make sure we have the right leaders in place to ensure Canada remains to be the great country it is and has been for so long.

The main reason for this post is mostly to relay information as it is not our place to encourage you to vote one way or the other, but it is important to encourage all readers to vote and help provide information on how to vote. I found this very simple all inclusive efficient websight with phone numbers to answer all questions from elections Canada, if you click the link that follows you should be able to get registered and answer any question about voting you may have http://www.elections.ca/home.aspx

Voting is so important, one of the other barriers to voting some times is fear that we wont make an informed decision I found this other great portal of information which I found so helpful to me in reviewing some of the candidates platforms just click here, its a neat little vote compass where it asks you questions about things which matter to you and compares to the leaders, I found it very help and insightful, just click the following link http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/vote-compass-2015-canada-election-1.3204489

Now the other excuse we quite often use is time, note the advanced polls open today and are available each and every day thoughout the long weekend including Monday, yes those good folks at elections Canada will be postponing their thanksgiving dinner so we can vote, to find out where your advance polls are just look at the registration card you received or go the following websight http://www.elections.ca/content2.aspx?section=vote&document=index&lang=e#advance

Again this message is only meant to help and "Promote the Vote" and not to influence a vote in either direction.
